CatWinFish – Tanago Rod
A rod by popular Chinese manufacturer XiangMao (CatWinFish). Comes in beautiful pastels and in lengths of 150cm, 180cm, and 210cm
Note: The rods from AliExpress I list here are manufactured for the Chinese domestic market and are of comparable quality to JDM rods. China has a booming microfishing industry and there are multiple companies manufacturing high quality and innovative tackle.

Farmer Camp – Model NO.
A perfect entry level rod, stiff and sensitive, with a smooth wood handle. I have hands on the larger size and the handle of this rod is comfortable and fits nicely into my palm. Farmer Camp uses five main colors for their products, a distinct purple, orange, green, red, and khaki so you can easily coordinate every piece of tackle (seriously, down to line, bag, float, towel, everything)
Comes in 150cm, 180cm, 210cm, 240cm

Farmer Camp is one of my favorite CDM manufacturers. I have three of their tanago rods and a casting rod. This is a solid compact rod with a modern minimalist aesthetic. It is on the stiffer side with a fast tip and sensitive blank.

Kokoe – Bromeliad
The Bromeliad is a higher end offering from the CDM company Kokoe. It straddles the border between tanago and tenkara rod and has a 7’/8′ double zoom, meaning it can be used at either length. It has enough flex and an action that allows for use as a compact tenkara rod, but I find myself using it primarily for tanago style.

Kokoe – Drizzle
One of my favorite new CDM rods, the Drizzle has a compact feel and retro styling and has great action and good flex. Its light weight and comes in 150cm, 180cm, and 210cm.
